During June of 2026, global warming measured 1.49 degrees Centigrade. I think it is worth listening to the zoom session for those of you who want more context with the numbers.

    1. Yes, and building into 2027 which is expected to surpass the current numbers. I think we are at the point where there are tipping points being breached. In the zoom, one scientist suggests that the warming is caused more by loss of aerosols than carbon dioxide concentration. That has been suggested before. The loss of aerosols is due to our own policies directed to decrease air pollution. Aerosols are light colored and reflect sunlight back.
